Allison Ostenberg
Co-Chair of the Local 66 Women’s Committee
Biography
Allison Ostenberg began her career in the sheet metal industry in 2008 and completed the Local 66 Sheet Metal Apprenticeship before advancing into leadership roles at McKinstry. With experience spanning HVAC field installation, fabrication, and construction technology, she led regional reality capture and advanced technology initiatives across the Pacific Northwest, supporting innovative project delivery across multiple trades. She was the first female in Local 66 to hold the title of Superintendent for PNW RTS.
In 2020, Allison transitioned into workforce development as Training Coordinator for the Western Washington Sheet Metal JATC. She now oversees instructors and curriculum for five state-accredited apprenticeship programs and journey-level continuing education across multiple campuses.
A committed advocate for equity and access in the trades, Allison serves as Co-Chair of the Local 66 Women’s Committee and contributes to industry-wide inclusion efforts through SMART & SMACNA’s BE4ALL initiative and the Washington State Building & Construction Trades Council Second Chance Committee. Known as a bridge-builder, she brings a people-first, systems-focused approach to shaping the future of the union construction workforce.
